Why it matters
Our work is on live, safety-critical sites where a failed slab or a blocked drain stops the business. Quality decides how long the work lasts and whether it fits with the way your site runs.
Our quality system is built on the principles of ISO 9001: clear leadership, planning, control on site, decisions based on evidence and steady improvement.
What good looks like
- Drainage laid to the correct falls and watertight
- Concrete slabs with consistent levels, joints and curing
- Groundworks that are stable and properly prepared
- Reinstatement that matches the specification
- A clean, organised site, because disorder leads to mistakes and rework
How we make sure
- Only current drawings and specifications on site, controlled in Procore
- Inspection and test plans with hold points, briefed with the RAMS before work starts
- Materials checked on delivery for the right standards and certification
- Key stages checked and signed off by the supervisor, with photos and test records kept
- Any non-conformance recorded, fixed quickly and the cause dealt with so it doesn't happen again
As Principal Contractor
When we act as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015, we take full responsibility for planning, co-ordinating and checking the work of everyone on the project. Pre-construction information is reviewed so constraints such as existing services, ground conditions and site access are understood from the start, and tolerances and hold points are written into the Construction Phase Plan.
Our Director, Ben Duffy, is responsible for the quality policy, which is reviewed every year using site records, non-conformance trends and client feedback.
