Send your briefPKB Civils is a specialist contractor for external works on operational sites: concrete yards, drainage, groundworks and enabling works. Our crews and plant are our own, and they travel from our Rochdale base to wherever the work is.
In London we refurbished 1,000m² of yard for a builders merchant whose failing surface was slowing plant and creating safety risks. We phased the work in sections and laid new 200mm reinforced slabs throughout. The merchant did not lose a day of trading.
That is how we approach every London job: survey first, agree the phasing with you, then deliver it with one team accountable from start to finish.

Send your briefDo you have an office in London?
No. Our head office and yard are in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Our crews and plant travel from there to sites across the UK, including London.
Can you work while our site stays open?
Yes. Most of our work is on sites that stay open. We phase the works so vehicle routes, deliveries and pedestrian access stay clear, and agree the sequence with your site team before we start.
What happens at a free site survey?
We walk the site with you and look at ground conditions, drainage, loading and access. You get a safety and compliance review, a budget and cost analysis, a phasing and maintenance plan, and recommendations specific to your site. There is no obligation to go ahead.
Do you take on residential work?
No. We only work on external commercial and industrial sites: yards, hardstandings, drainage and groundworks for logistics, ports, recycling, manufacturing and builders merchants. We do not take on residential work.
