The problem
The yard had deteriorated across several areas, with failing concrete and drainage causing operational and health and safety problems. It was a large refurbishment, and the site had to keep operating throughout a 12-week programme.

What we did
- 2,400m² of new concrete
- Concrete repairs across multiple areas of the yard
- Gully and channel repairs and replacements
- Every work area sectioned off before work started, keeping vehicles and people clear

The result
More usable yard, far less standing water and fewer drainage failures, and a measurable improvement in health and safety across the site.
All the feedback we've had from site has been really positive. I've also got to give credit for how you have managed some of the on-site issues that required making design changes on the fly. This showed great pragmatism. As always, it's a pleasure working with PKB on this project.
