The problem
A primary school in St Helens needed more classroom space quickly to keep up with growing enrolment. Working with Portakabin, PKB had to prepare the site for a fast installation without disrupting the school.

What we did
- Foundation pads for the modular units
- Drainage connections, electrical trenching and associated services
- Access ramps for an accessible, compliant building
- Works sequenced around the Portakabin programme and the school calendar

The result
Completed on programme, handing Portakabin a fully prepared site. The school got its extra space quickly, with pupils, staff and visitors kept safe and clear of the works.
Everything was prepared when we arrived and the school was kept running throughout. Really pleased with how it went and look forward to working with you again
